The emperor of the distant planet Palta looks upon the earth's resources covetously. Dr Polto, a Paltan scientist / engineer sent as a spy, falls in love and marries a human woman, Sumiko. The have a child - Robin - and, fearing for the child's future, Dr Polto builds a squadron of super powered robots to protect him. Robin and his squadron of robots fight to protect earth when the emperor, discovering his own planet is facing imminent destruction, launches an invasion.
