Natsuyuki Rendezvous
Ryosuke works part-time as a florist. He has bad eyesight, a pure heart, and a secret crush on the store manager, Rokka. Unfortunately for him, Rokka swore off love 8 years ago. But when Ryosuke goes up to her apartment on the second floor, he runs into a good-looking half-naked man. At first upset, he learns that this isn't Rokka's live-in boyfriend; he's the ghost of her late husband, Atsushi. She can't see him, and Ryosuke decides not to give up on her, even with a dead husband standing in the way.

Stingiest Man in Town
Ebenezer Scrooge was an aging business man who was known throughout the town as being a very stingy miser. So stingy that he under pays his clerk Bob Cratchit, declines to make any donations to a charity, and despises the holiday of Christmas as an excuse for reckless spending. However on the night of Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his dead business partner Jacob Marley. Marley warns Scrooge to change his ways or be punished in the afterlife for being a greedy heartless miser. Despite the warning, Scrooge dismissed the whole encounter with his dead partner to be utter madness and ends up going to bed. However Scrooge ends up having an encounter with three additional ghosts in which each of them try to make Scrooge realize the error in his ways.

This is a story about two sisters: Shizuru is a high school student who is able to see ghosts while her younger sister, Mizuki, is haunted by these apparitions. Frustrated by their abilities, their parents decided to entrust the sisters into the care of their grandparents who live in the countryside. As they adapt to life in the countryside, Shizuru and Mizuki begin to learn about the importance of coexisting nature with these apparitions.

A series of short horror stories based around Japanese myths and urban legends. The series is framed around an old man telling these tales to schoolchildren on a playground using kamishibai, a traditional Japanese storytelling method using paper scrolls.
