JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
2011, Miami, Florida, USA. 19 year old Jolyne Kujoh is sentenced to 15 years in Green Dolphin Street Prison due to her involvement in an accidental manslaughter. However, shortly after her incarceration, Jolyne and some of the other inmates begin to exhibit supernatural powers known as Stands. As Jolyne makes friends and fights foes amongst the prison Stand-users, she learns that the strange circumstances behind her imprisonment may be tied to a conspiracy and its mastermind within the prison -- a shadowy figure with a grudge against Jolene's estranged father and who hopes to fulfill the ambitions of the man responsible for her family's centuries-spanning blood feud.

As part of a daring new Operation Nosferatu, Project Mechtat will use Irina as a test subject for various conditions expected in space, and ultimately as part of a manned mission, with Lev overseeing Irina's training as a cosmonaut. For reasons of their own, both dream of going into space.

However, the eldest daughter of the family, Karin Maaka, has an embarassing secret which cannot be revealed to anyone. Even though she is a vampire, she does not lack blood like her family members. Instead, she overproduces blood to the extent that she transfuses the excess into her victims, hence increasing their blood levels. Despite her troubling body characteristic, she attends school like any other high school student, that is until a new transfer student, Kenta Usui, enters her life.

Photographer Kohei Morioka, while on assignment for a magazine devoted to the occult, enters a dark castle in Germany where he encounters a young vampire girl named Hazuki who tries to turn him into her servant. While Kohei doesn't succumb to Hazuki's will, he does set her free from the barrier keeping her in the castle. He is surprised to find her living with him in Japan.
